This watch is big really BIG. I wanted a rugged sports watch , but this one is more of the high fashion casual variety. My wife likes to wear it. In the photo the case has a dull brushed stainless look, but it is a more highly polished finish. Oh and one reviewer stated that the numerals were a dull gray. The numerals are finished in a highly polished metal and as such are very reflective. So depending on the surrounding light they can be dull or extremely bright.
Another thing about size the case diameter is listed as 45mm which it is (not including the crown). But another Timex watch, which I also purchased, listed the same 45mm case diameter. But when it arrived and I compared them the sizes were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. this was because the case diameter on the Timex watch included the crown in the CASE diameter diameter figure. This really needs to be a standard measure. (see my comparison photo which shows both watches).

This watch is a nice looking, big bold watch. However, on the Internet, where the numerals, minute and second hands are white and thus stand out, on the real watch they are all grey and hard to read. If you don't mind this, fine. But if you purchased the watch to see the numerals, minute and second hands better, you will be disappointed, as was I. I returned the watch for that reason.

I really liked the look of this watch from the pictures from Amazon. I bought it after 5 mins of looking at the face and band. Upon delivery of the watch I was instantly impressed. The face is clean, easy to read and there's an impressive and confident heft to the timepiece. I've had a couple of complements about it to, which is always nice :)
For the price it's a brilliant buy. I highly recommend this watch, it's well worth the money. It's been almost 3 months now and it's been going strong without any blemishes or hiccups.

Hello All, Yet another watch review by your's truly if you have been following. Any who, The Fossil Decker Black Chronograph Fits the bill when looking for an all black chronograph within a budget. Believe me, looking for an all black chronograph is tough considering some of the choices out there ranging from Chase Durer, to MTM, Traser and Luminox just to name a few brands. This Chronograph came about during a Trip to Atlantic City, when Spotted, I was really impressed by the look, finish and feel of the watch. For the Price, the bracelet is rather sturdy, the ion-plating finish as well is tremendously well done. One unique feature that I found particularly interesting about the watch was it's chronograph function. I just received this item, which is intended as a gift to my partner (a guy). I will update my review after he receives it, but I thought I would share my first impressions.
The package arrived very quickly, which is great. However, the Fossil box for this black, heavy, men's watch is bright pink, with "Beach" written all over it in yellow, and a giant yellow "B" on the top of the lid. I did indicate that this was a gift when purchasing, but there is no way I can seriously present this box. People usually prize a cool Fossil tin in which to keep their watches or other things, so I don't understand why the seller would choose something so laughably tacky for this sort of watch. Oh, well...
UPDATE: The watch was very well-received! It's very tasteful and a really good item for bumping up from sportier watches. Makes a wonderful gift.
